The medallion is a round metal object the size of a hockey puck clearly marked ARCTIC PLUNGE MEDALLION. The medallion will be hidden within a 10 mile radius of the City of Isanti Police Station.
Daily clues will be posted on the Arctic Plunge website, Captains on Long Lake website, the Chamber of Commerce website and any merchant participating in the sale of buttons. The Arctic Plunge will run ads in the Isanti County News promoting the medallion hunt and the merchants selling the buttons.
The person who finds the medallion will turn it into the Chamber of Commerce. If they have a button at the time they will win a $250.00 cash prize. If they don’t have a button the prize is $100.00. The merchant who sells the winning button will receive a $50.00 prize. If no button is turned in we will enter all merchant names in a drawing for this prize.

• The medallion will be hidden in an actual location in Isanti County.
• No medallion clues, nor the hiding place, require entry on to private property.
• Clues will be published on the Arctic Plunge website, Captain’s website, Isanti Chamber of Commerce and affiliated Facebook sites. An ad will run in the Isanti County News to inform participants where to find the daily clues.
• The hunter that recovers the medallion should bring it to Isanti Chamber of Commerce, Captain’s or the Place to Be.
• The contest begins on February 16, 2012 and ends when the medallion is found.
• Be safe and play nice! Participants who engage in any unsportsmanlike, disruptive or abusive behavior will be disqualified in our discretion.
• Anyone who damages, destroys or trespasses on public or private property will be disqualified from the contest. Participants must obey opening and closing hours of public property.
• Participants must be 18 years of age.
• Participants must be a legal resident of the state of MN.
• Any committee members of the Arctic Plunge along with immediate family are ineligible to win.
• $250 cash prize with button purchased. $100 cash prize with no button purchased.
• Buttons are to be sold for $2.00 each.
• There will be a $50 prize to the business that sells the winning button.
• Businesses will receive 2 weeks of advertising to promote each business .
• 300 buttons to be sold
• Medallion will be hid w/in no more than 10 mile radius from Isanti Police Dept.
• Two $25 prize drawings for those with buttons at the pre-registration party.
